Catching Up

Well, I suppose it has been awhile since I have done anything on here I have a ton of things we have done and experienced and more pictures than I could possibly share but I will place a few below for your enjoyment with captions of what was going on and you can see for yourself. This could be a fairy princess or could it be someone we all know? Either way she is BEAUTIFUL! This is what you get when you travel 200 miles out of the way to where they say you can see a moose, where there are supposed to be 600 Moose in the area... hmmmm we are still wondering if it is true because this is as close as we came however the hotel was nice and the scenery was beautiful. So if you are bored or just want to try somewhere new take a drive to Walden, CO!

Rocky Mountain National Park is Gorgeous! However if you are afraid of driving on roads that are high up without gaurd rails DO NOT TRY IT! I did get some good reading done and I think the family found out how best to get me to have a heart attack! :-) The picture will be forthcomming.

FINALLY A MOOSE! YIPPEE!!!

We saw this young buck as we were driving along just leaving Rocky Mountain National Park. He was so close it was neat to see. There are three pictures here one for you all to see him, one to try to find him in and one to help you find him in the previous one. Have fun! It is amazing how well they blend in.

Then there is the Boulder Boulder 10K Race Memorial Day 2009 A day that will live in infamy around this house because not only did we get up at 5AM to get me there on time to run the whole thing at 7:23AM but we also spent from 10:30AM to 5:30PM in the hospital ER trying to decide if I had an anuism after the run a stroke or what because one of my eyes decided to have a dialated pupil and one did not, I had funny vision like getting the same picture at different zooms at the same time and I had a head ache so finally they decided I just had a complex migraine and let me go have dinner with the family. The positive about this day?! I learned I can run 6.2 miles! I did it in an hour and 9 minutes! That is a first ever in my life. The thing I think I learned long term is maybe I am not cut out to be a runner so although I love the rush of good feelings you get from exerting yourself I think I will try to stay away from the ER in the future.
