We had the nicest weekend in Denver. It was what I would call a staycation, I still do not think that is in the dictionary but whatever! We thought we would be on our way and off to the beautiful mountains at 7am bright and early saturday alas it was not to be so, one thing after another took place so we didn't even get to leave until 10:30!
Once on our way we did see some beautiful mountian views, the colors up high are starting to change so there were some yellow and red trees along the way, so beautiful mixed with the blues and greens. I truely think if it gets cool here we may see some beautiful colors in the next two weekends. If you plan to come to Colorado to see the colors watch what they are predicting but I think in two weeks it will be perfect!
When we reached Denver it was perfect timing we called our friends and went to have a small snack before we were all off together to see KOOZA a traveling show by Cirque du Soliel. It had some really great costumes and acrobatics, Ricky Martin dressed in a disco ball outfit (litterally this outfit was like somone took the fabric off a disco ball and made a 70's disco suit out of it, WOW!, he was a magnificent juggler and then there was the little clown, it is so interesting how much you can convey to an audience by facial expression, body language and music. I say if you want to see something wonderful light, fun and totally beautiful go see a circus.
